CASE STUDY · Altınmarka GrubuTürkiye

Three brands in one group, three different logics

Kahve Dünyası, Baylan and Detay Çikolata belong to the same group — and we supply all three for entirely different reasons.

Three brands, three different needs

Belonging to the same group does not mean their products are the same. Kahve Dünyası is a fast-service chain; Baylan is a patisserie tradition more than a century old; Detay Çikolata makes a retail product. The customer, the service format and the brand language differ across all three, so what we make for each is designed differently.

Kahve Dünyası — printing is not needed everywhere

In the chain's takeaway branches the product leaves the store: it is seen on the street, in an office, at home, and it carries the brand there. Cutlery goes to those branches printed in two colours. In the sit-down branches the brand is already everywhere — on the wall, the cup, the apron; printing the fork there adds to cost rather than visibility, and it goes unprinted. The chain draws that line, and we run both specifications inside one production plan.

Baylan — the language of a patisserie tradition

For Baylan we produce both the wet wipes and the printed cutlery. Here the tone of the product matters as much as its function: what is placed on the table in a hundred-year-old patisserie has to speak in that room's language. Despite sitting in the same group, Baylan's design has nothing in common with Kahve Dünyası's.

Detay Çikolata — part of the product itself

This one is structurally different from the other two. In a hot chocolate spoon, the spoon is not a serving utensil handed over alongside the product; it is part of the product. It goes inside something sold on a shelf, is stirred into hot milk, and carries the chocolate. Dimensional tolerance, surface finish and batch-to-batch consistency therefore have to sit inside a tighter band than any serving utensil requires.

What this demonstrates

That we can supply three separate consumer brands of an industrial-scale group to three separate specifications — and that our product can be made to a consistency that lets it go inside a brand's retail product. In multi-brand groups the real issue is not production but making sure the right item reaches the right place and each brand stays in its own language.

Getting the printed/unprinted split right changes a visible share of the annual budget in a multi-site chain. We work out with you which items the customer actually sees.

If you run a multi-site chain or group, we plan the job by component rather than by site. Tell us how many sites and which products, and we will work out the schedule and the cost with you.
