Which Business Should Choose What?

Department-level recommendations for hotels, cafés, restaurants, beach clubs and catering.

Hotels

In a hotel, single-use products are not one department's job. For room service, a wood set and 33×33 white napkin support a premium perception. Breakfast is high-volume: a bamboo set and 25×25 waiter-fold napkin are economical. For the pool bar, a 20 cm bamboo straw and alu-triplex wrapped wet wipe hold up outdoors. In the spa, scent is a brand element; lavender or green tea are preferred.

Cafés and coffee chains

In a café, brand perception is built from small repeated details. A 25×25 kraft napkin suits the natural coffee aesthetic and is the most economical combination. For cold service, the 20 cm bamboo straw doesn't soften in the glass the way paper straws do. For a single-location café, starting with napkins and straws is the most sensible entry point.

Restaurants and takeaway

In the dining room, the atmosphere already tells your brand story; single-use products play a supporting role. In takeaway, however, the product is your brand's only physical representative — the guest doesn't see the venue or the waiter, only the package. Investment in takeaway products therefore returns more. For hand-eaten menus, a wet wipe is a standard expectation.

Beach clubs and summer venues

Outdoors is the toughest test for single-use products. A paper straw loses its shape in an iced drink within 15–20 minutes; a bamboo straw holds. In windy conditions a thin napkin won't stay on the table — a higher weight and larger size is preferable. For wet wipes, aluminium-layered packaging provides a sun and moisture barrier.

Catering and events

Catering is the highest-volume buyer group in this sector and benefits most from price tiers. Both strategies work: printing your own brand (your name appears at every event and wins new business) or printing the client's brand (an upper-segment service line you can add to your quote). Pre-packed sets shorten setup time and reduce missing-item errors.
