Members club: a restaurant, a poolside and a function room in one place

A members club does not behave as a single business: a restaurant, a poolside and a function room sit inside it together. Their needs differ and their brand is the same. The mark does a different job here too — for a member it reads as belonging rather than marketing, which puts consistency ahead of styling.

Here the mark reads as belonging

The member already knows the club; the mark is not there to introduce it. It is the point where a member sees their own club, which puts consistency ahead of the design itself. A look that shifts from area to area is noticed faster here than in other segments.

Functions are a separate revenue line

What the club serves its own members and what it sells to outside organisers are different jobs. A function has a fixed date, a known count and no reorder — the same arithmetic as the wedding catering page. Whose mark is printed, the club's or the event's, is settled at the start.

The season splits consumption in two

The poolside and garden open in summer while the restaurant runs all year. Annual need is therefore calculated from two curves rather than one average, and straw consumption piles into the summer months.

One design across several items

Using the same design on the napkin, the sleeve and the wipe reduces the design work to one job. The plate charge still applies per item, but the artwork is not prepared again; across a club with four separate areas, that difference becomes visible in the total.

Frequently asked

Does each area need its own design?
It does not. One design can run across the napkin, the sleeve and the wipe; the plate charge applies per item but the artwork is not prepared again.
At a function, whose mark is printed?
Both are used. The mixed route — sleeve from the club, napkin from the event — is common because it splits the fixed cost.
How is the annual quantity calculated?
From two curves rather than one average: the restaurant running all year and the poolside opening in summer. Straw consumption piles into the summer months.
