French tacos: pressed product, melted sauce, French law
French tacos has nothing to do with the Mexican taco: it is a French item, folded and closed in a hot press, with a cheese sauce that melts and runs. The paper takes heat and grease at the same time. Because the market is France, the regulatory side is also the strictest in Europe.

The name misleads — the item is French
French tacos did not come from Mexican cooking; it was born in France, folded like a wrap and compressed in a hot press. The distinction is practical: the way it is served, the portion size and the set of single-use items alongside it follow wrap logic, not taco logic.
The hot press stresses paper from two sides
The item is closed in a press and leaves hot, with the cheese sauce inside melting and running. The paper around it takes heat and grease at once. On the napkin side that pushes ply and wet strength forward — with a sauce that is both hot and fluid, one ply does not do the work.
France sits at the strictest end
Because the market is France, it is loi AGEC that applies rather than the EU minimum: plastic cutlery has been banned since 1 January 2021 and compostability buys no exemption. Wet wipes sit in their own producer responsibility chain, and Triman plus Info-tri marking is mandatory on the packaging — both go straight into the print file.
What you pick, and why
Late trade and a young customer
A large share of sales concentrates into evening and late hours. Napkin and wipe use peaks there; plan stock against the daily average and it runs out at the weekend. The same audience shares the packaging, so print that reads in a photograph is a practical gain.
The French market has its own vocabulary
In this market the restaurant word for a wet wipe is `rince-doigts`; the literal translation `lingettes rafraichissantes` is searched far less. Likewise a paper straw is `paille en carton` and a bamboo one `paille en bambou`. These are the words used when looking for a supplier.
